Flotadas Chimehuin, two words for the Fontanazza family that represent deep feelings and experiences accumulated through many years.
Angel and Analía arrived to Neuquén province in Patagonia in the 1980´s. They were attracted by the incredible beauty of the countryside and believed that this was the place to seek new opportunities and start a family.
Their first destination was the Mapuche Indian communites in the south of the province where they worked to improve the lives and education of these proud indigenous people of Patagonia .
During his work Angel had the opportunity to visit many Indian families who lived along the banks of Patagonia 's famous rivers. They offered him their hospitality and taught him to respect nature's secrets.
Under the majesty and the presence of the Lanín volcano and the crystal clear waters of the Malleo and Aluminé rivers, Angel came to know and love this countryside and its people.
Here they started their family. Giselle was born first. Gabriel was born a year later and then Amelí. All of them were born near the banks of the beautiful Malleo River .
As the children grew, this landscape and way of life became an integral part of their lives. It was here that Angel taught them to love and respect nature and how to fish.
In Autumn´85 they established a rural school for Mapuche teenagers beside the Chimehuín River where later Andrés and Julián were born.
Eventually, the family established themselves in the small beautiful town of Junín de los Andes . They shared their love for fishing and outdoor life with their friends. This became the base of the enterprise.
Over the years, they have made many friends from all over the world who come year after to year to fish. The family works as a team to provide each client with an excellent experience. They look forward to sharing their knowledge and experience with old as well as new friends.
